The Survey, which reflects the government’s view on the eve of the budget which will be presented tomorrow, claims the outlook for the Indian economy is “bright” and that the economy will grow at 6.5-7% in the financial year of 2025.
Leaving aside the robustness of that claim, we found this particularly noteworthy – that the Modi government has washed its hands off the employment crisis it faces. The Survey says, on page ix
