In an incident that is symptomatic of the kind of mob rule that accompanies the Bharatiya Janata Party wherever it is in power, a senior bureaucrat, Ratnakar Sahoo, was dragged out of his office in Bhubhaneshwar,Odisha today and assaulted by goons linked to a local BJP leader.
