The fourth phase of India’s 44-day long general election took place today with 96 seats voting. Overall turnout was reported at around 62.3%, with lows of 52.75% and 58.7% reported from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh constituencies and a high of 75.94% from West Bengal.
