The NDA government presented its budget today and two things are apparent. First, Narendra Modi seems to grudgingly accept that his failure to provide jobs is what cost the BJP its majority in the elections. And second, that he is still unprepared to abandon his pro-corporate approach to the economy, which lies at the root of the jobs crisis.
