A remission plea filed in the Supreme Court by Dara Singh, the Bajrang Dal man who burnt missionary Graham Staines and his two young sons to death in 1999, has Odisha’s opposition smelling a rat. One former BJD MLA points to the plea coming soon after the BJP came to power in the state under a chief minister who once reportedly supported Dara’s release.
